Welcome!

I am glad you chose to visit! My blog is a compilation of the many hats I find myself wearing. On any given day I may be an encourager, an instructor, or just a lady who is venting. You, dear reader, will probably identify with my triumphs and my tribulations! These snapshots fit into my Life Scrapbook I have named A. McInnis Artworks. I hope you will find something worth your while.

Blog Details...

What's the picture of the horse and the little donkey got to do with this post? Nothing. I took the picture from my backporch this summer and just thought it was pretty.

A few housekeeping details. I've had some questions posed to me that I think bear answering. So here we go:

1. A: How do I "follow"? A: It's simple, follow the directions below.
a. Above the thumbnail pictures of "Followers" on the right side of the blog,
click on the word "Follow".
b. A screen will come up asking you to sign in with an account you already have.
Click on Google, Twitter, Yahoo icon and click ok.
c. IF YOU DO NOT have an account: you can quickly set one up by Clicking on
"Create a new google account". Fill in the required information, email, choose
a password, hit enter and you are done.

*I know it's not important how many Followers you have, but after working on blogs it's fun to know that there are people who read them and support your work. So I'd love it if you'd follow. You can use a screen name, not your own, if you
desire or just use your first name and don't use a picture, if you prefer. If you don't
follow, it's ok...sniff, sniff! :)

Onward...

2. Q: What's in this for you? (meaning me.)

A: A LOT is in this for me. First, I've met some great, talented people on these blogs.
Most bloggers that I follow are 25-40ish. "The Blog Ladies" are so nice to me and I love
looking at all the many great ideas they have.

Even if you aren't crafty, it's fun to see what others are making, cooking, re-making.
Though I don't benefit monetarily, I do reap lots of friendships and super ideas. And I hope
you will, too.

My blog is about encouragement.

3. Q: Can I start a blog, too?

A: Absolutely. It's one of the highlights of my day. It will be yours, too. Just do a little
investigating and dive in. That's what I did and I may not have the biggest or the
"baddest" blog but I love my "Followers" and my readers' comments. I really take
them to heart.

4. Now a Question for you...do you like the direction my blog is taking? I was just writing little
stories and I've expanded with tips, ideas, etc. (I only have just so many funny happenings in
my life, you know!) But I will be sure and post them the minute they occur!

One other thing, a big heartfelt THANK YOU for reading and putting up with my nonesense. My blog is one of the few things that I have some control over in my life. I want the best for all the people in my life...that doesn't always happen...but when I share with others, maybe something good of what I write or do will help somebody somewhere. That is my hope and my desire. Let me know what you think about question #4, by comment or email.

I am thrilled to be along for your online journaling journey!
