Good morning! I am pretty excited today because last night I found a new blog button that I had overlooked....the STATS button. Now I know not only how many have viewed the blog (over 5,000 since mid July), but from what countries they come. Now that might not be exciting to you but to me it shows the power of the internet. Countries that have been very active viewing this blog are U.S., Canada, Peru and Denmark. Moderate activity has been shown in China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, Taiwan, Australia and the Netherlands. Can you believe that?
Wonder what they think about my stories? Do they think all Americans are as nuts as I am? I better consider that when I write....or should I? It's all real, so I think I'll just continue being well, ...real. The stats report even tells me the Browsers most used (Internet Explorer and FireFox) and the operating systems most used were Windows and IPhone. Now that's pretty cool. The most viewed posts were #1 "To Laugh with Mother One More Time"; #2 "Oh, the Horror of it All: Camp Desoto"!
I can even log on and tell how many people (and from what countries) are viewing the blog at this very moment. Google is unreal! Can you imagine the possibilities this presents?
Anyway, to all viewers and followers of my blog both here in the U.S. and internationally (I love it), have a great Labor Day! Fall is in the air and it's time for us to prepare for the last quarter of 2010! Thanks for reading! Let me hear from you.

I think most who don't already know you would perceive from your writings that you are warm, funny, serious when you need to be, and have learned to face life with faith and humor -- both of which get you through each day.
Thank you, Julie. I just find it so interesting that people from all over everywhere can even locate my blog...wonder how that's done? I feel like the South Korea and Peru readers are missionary friends, but what about all those others? Russia!? Trinadad? Should I get a translator? Haha! (And YES humor is great, but faith is even better!) Thanks for commenting!
I need your help with my blog!!!!
Forgot to say, what a great ministry opportunity you have here on the blog!
Yes, Mrs. Jinny Bailey, it IS a ministry opportunity. I hope that every day somebody takes away a chuckle to get them through bad times or a thought to ponder and pray about. You need to begin a blog. It's not only fun, it's a wonderful way to express yourself (whether others read of not!)
Do you mean to tell me that the Camp Desoto blog is the number 2 most read and that all these other countries are reading it??!! Oh my goodness--not only will we be famous(or maybe the correct word is infamous) in Mississippi and the United States but all over the world too!! Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!
I am happy to say that YES we are internationally known!!!
Thank you--thank you very much!!
You're welcome, Elvis.
