Old football players "die hard".....Wayne,
Old football players "die hard"...my daddy (83) can still tell you about games in the late 1930's!
Julie,
I am always drawn to those type parking spaces, too. At our church, there is one reserved for our pastor. I've always wanted to park there, and even when I'm the only one at the church, I wouldn't dare!Angela McInnishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02962127548669107854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2044945067633460151.post-39513347922341416122010-09-26T23:25:02.607-05:002010-09-26T23:25:02.607-05:00Changed my mind about an earlier post.
It's em...Changed my mind about an earlier post.
It's embarrassing to get caught in someone else's seat or parking space -- especially when they are someone "important". Years ago in North Dakota,I drove out to a Minuteman Missile launch control site to have Thanksgiving dinner with Dave while he was on alert. I parked my car on a nice smooth asphalt "parking lot" and headed for the facility. Before I got to the gate, a guard asked me to move my car because "sometimes the (commanding) colonel likes to visit the launch sites on holidays -- and that's where his chopper lands."Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04769514249364082342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2044945067633460151.post-70556147635667626662010-09-26T23:12:17.641-05:002010-09-26T23:12:17.641-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04769514249364082342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2044945067633460151.post-91376477780305961622010-09-26T21:46:47.375-05:002010-09-26T21:46:47.375-05:00Angela,

It involves physical contact, force, control and all those things men love.

I am sure Chicken Daddy loved MSU beating Ga. just as much as I did and I still enjoy thinking about beating Mendenhall in 1957 when I played for Brandon and they had about a 20 game winning streak going.....

Does that explain it :)!

Waynejazzycathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16720471765591930568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2044945067633460151.post-32942408407260950272010-09-26T20:09:53.109-05:002010-09-26T20:09:53.109-05:00Pat, he will probably put them on a DVD or a CD or...Pat, he will probably put them on a DVD or a CD or whatever and have a great time! Bet Chicken Daddy hasn't tried that again.
My husband loved MSU and just yesterday I was cleaning out a cabinet and ran across old taped MSU football games dating back to 1991. I visited with my sister today in Columbus and her son-in-law is also an avid MSU fan. He said he'd love to have the old tapes (20 I counted) so I promised to get them to him. He was so excited.Pat Jones Hittnoreply@blogger.com
